Rivers and Tides

Andy Goldworthy is an artist who is influenced greatly by nature. He loves working with water like rivers or streams. Despite his phenomenal work he does not plan  any of it out. He thinks that doing that would take too much time and when he arrives where he needs to be he starts. Andy lives in Penpont, Scotland and works with barbracket a material he enjoys. When you pull the plant from the ground the bottom that was rooted is black. The idea, he says, that it all starts underground helps him understand what is happening around him. The process of growth is part of his inspiration and captivation. When he worked with the stonewall he explains about movement and how all movement is important to see. Once he saw this movement, of the wall through the trees, he saw all the movement in nature.
